Submission Disclaimer
By submitting your material to Blunt Pencil Storyworks (BPS), you agree that:
- The work is your original creation and you own the rights.
- Submission is for review and consultation purposes only.
- Submission does not create a production or representation agreement.
- All materials are handled confidentially and will not be shared without written consent.
- You retain full ownership and copyright of your work at all times.
Similarity Acknowledgment Clause
You acknowledge that Blunt Pencil Storyworks may currently be developing, producing, or receiving other materials that may be similar to your submitted project in theme, story, idea, title, format, characters, or other respects. You agree that you will not be entitled to any compensation or credit arising from any such similarities, whether actual or coincidental.
Likewise, if BPS later produces or develops a project that appears similar to your submitted work, you agree that no implied agreement exists and that any resemblance results from coincidental creative overlap, not from the use of your submitted material.
Conversely, if your submission resembles any project already in development at BPS, it will be treated as an independent creation unless a formal collaboration, option, or production agreement is executed in writing and signed by both parties.
